Come play in this unique Casco Bay Island golf experience. Take advantage of the ferry ride from campus to Great Chebeague Island and play the picturesque island course with ocean views throughout your experience. Teams will be playing this tournament walking the nine holes. Pull carts are allowed and encouraged for participants to bring. A limited number are available at the course to rent. Your entry fee includes a ferry ride, bag lunch, golf fee, and post-event reception with a drink ticket at the McKernan Inn.
Schedule
10-10:30 am Golfers arrive at the McKernan Inn (122 McKernan Drive, South Portland, ME) on the SMCC campus to check in for the event.
10:45 am Golfers will depart to the SMCC pier to be picked up by our charter ferry provided by Chebeague Transportation to the island. A bag lunch will be provided to each golfer.
11:45 am Arrive on the island and depart to the shotgun start assignments
12 pm Tournament play begins
2:45 pm Team concludes tournament and boards charter boat back to SMCC Campus
3:45 pm Teams are dropped off at SMCC pier and walk back to McKernan for post-tournament reception
