Christ Child Society of Omaha believes every child deserves a strong start in life regardless of their circumstances. Through our core programs, we help meet the basic needs of vulnerable families in our community and support their long-term success. By investing in children from the very beginning, we empower families to build healthy, stable, and productive lives.

We invite you to join us in this life-changing mission by supporting Soirée 2026, our annual fundraising event, on October 1st at Happy Hollow Club. We are honored to have Sharon and Kevin O’Malley as our event’s Honorary Chairs. 

Your participation helps support vital programs across three focus areas:

Infant Care & Safety: Our Car Seat and Layette Programs provide essential baby items such as car seats, diapers, and clothing to families facing financial hardship. These critical resources promote infant health and safety while relieving economic stress. In 2025 alone, we distributed over 2,220 layettes and 220 car seats to new and expectant mothers.

Education & Scholarships: Since 2020, over 100 young mothers have earned bachelor’s degrees or medical certifications with the help of Christ Child scholarships. These women are now building careers that provide long-term stability for their families.

Early Literacy: Our Literacy Program fosters the love of reading and promotes kindergarten readiness by distributing books and providing digital access to a multilingual online library. Early literacy is key to long-term academic success and breaking the cycle of poverty.

As demand for our programs continues to grow, so does our commitment to serve. With your partnership, we can continue to expand our reach and impact.
