Hi! I’m Caroline Freeman, a rising junior at the University of Texas majoring in Biology and Chemistry with plans to pursue medical school. I’m thrilled to be participating in 2026 Team Fundraising, a fundraiser supporting Texas 4000 for Cancer! Cancer has touched me through multiple avenues, including both of my grandmothers. I ride for them and their continual impact on me as strong female role models with their immeasurable strength against this disease. In the Summer of 2026, I will be biking 4000 miles from Texas to Alaska spreading awareness of this message. This will test my own strength and dedication, but it will still be minimal compared to the strength they have demonstrated. Through community engagement and awareness we can all work towards this goal of fighting cancer every mile. Every donation—big or small—helps me reach my fundraising objective and directly impacts this important cause.
