2026 Team Resilience

Erika’s Lighthouse is a non-profit organization that believes that every student should have the knowledge and tools they need to care for their mental health. We’re proud to provide our high-quality, comprehensive depression education and suicide prevention curriculum to school districts across the country, at zero cost. Every student. Every classroom. Every school.

This mission is deeply personal to me. I grew up alongside a sister who struggled with mental illness, and I saw firsthand how the school system failed to recognize her needs and provide meaningful support. At a time when understanding and early intervention could have made a difference, there simply weren’t enough resources or conversations around mental health.

I’m running this marathon with Team Resilience 2026 because I believe we can do better. I want to help create a future where students are taught how to care for their mental health, where warning signs aren’t missed, and where kids feel seen and supported. I’m running for my sister, for my nephew, and for my future children—so they grow up in a world where mental health education is a given, not a privilege.
