Thank you for visiting my VCA Walk for the Animals fundraising page!

Two years ago, my husband found an abandoned dog in our community.  Although we don't know his history, it was clear that he had had a rough go and needed medical attention.  We were shocked to learn how overwhelmed the current system is for animals in need.  We did our best to nurse him back to health while trying to find him a long-term solution.  Fortunately, after weeks of many phone calls, emails, and pleas, we were able to get Roady into a non-profit animal shelter (and he has since found his forever home).  

Since then, Chris and I have tried to do our part to help where we can and to draw awareness to the great organizations that are helping stray animals that are in need.  They are doing great work with minimal resources, and they need all of the help they can get - both financially and volunteer-wise.  We welcome any of you to join our pack and would appreicate any support you can provide for this mission.

For over 35 years, the VCA Walk for the Animals has been the Humane Society of Broward County’s largest and most impactful annual fundraiser.
