Where the Money Goes...

Did You Know?

The Humane Society of Broward County relies entirely on the generosity of our community and local businesses to care for the animals who need us most. We do not receive funding from the government, United Way, or any national or local organizations with similar names. Instead, our income comes from:

  • Adoption fees

  • Services we provide like dog training classes, vaccination clinics, and spay/neuter programs

  • Pet boutique sales

  • Fundraising events

  • Grants

  • General donations

  • And thoughtful individuals who include the shelter in their wills

Every dollar is used with great care, all to help give animals a second chance at a loving home.
