This is why I walk for wellness house is because they were the community that helped me feel like I was not alone! I had made some great connections there with new friends who were going through a similar battle or had been through something similar! They welcomed me and walk along side me to this day! I met people who understood and listened and could even offer some advice on how they handled a similar situation. I never felt alone on my journey because the wellness house provided a space where community could gather to help support one another!  Everything they provide is free, from classes, to wigs, to support groups, exercise classes, cooking classes, kids club, down to the even mints and hot tea in the lobby. When I think of the wellness house, my heart is so full! It's a safe and free place for anyone going through the cancer journey, from the one diagnosed, to support for their family and friends. What an amazing gift this place is to so many! 

Wellness House provides complete cancer care - every step of the way. Whether you have cancer, or you are caring for a friend or family member who is diagnosed with cancer, all are welcome at Wellness House. More than 520 programs are provided each month, both online and in person, to improve physical and emotional well-being and give people with cancer a support network like no other. 

Because of the Walk, and the generous donations of individuals and businesses, everything at Wellness House is provided free of charge, providing one less thing to worry about when struggling with a cancer. That's why I have joined the Walk and why I ask you to join me in giving what you can to support people in the fight for their lives.
