We’re excited to come together as part of the NBG G.I.V.E. Initiative to participate in SHC’s 2026 Warm Soles Night Walk presented by Novant Health, a fundraiser supporting Supportive Housing Communities.

One of the core ways G.I.V.E. shows up is by connecting our members with local nonprofits and creating opportunities to support causes already meaningful within our community. This walk is a great example of that—bringing people together around a shared purpose while elevating awareness for an organization doing important work right here in Charlotte.

This is an all-ages event, and we’re encouraging members to invite friends and family to participate alongside us. Whether you’re walking with colleagues, kids, neighbors, or loved ones, the goal is to expand the circle and make this a true community effort.

Our collective goal is to raise $500 through registrations and donations. If we reach that goal, we’ll also earn a dedicated tent space at the event—giving us a place to gather, connect, and represent G.I.V.E. together that evening.

Here’s how you can be involved:

• Help with Event Set Up: Join some of our members who will be setting up early from 12-4. Email Tanya Quinn to register for this separately (tanya@tanyaquinn.com). 

• Walk with us: Join the G.I.V.E. group at the event and bring friends or family members to be part of the experience as we work toward our $500 goal.

• Donate: Any contribution—big or small—helps support Supportive Housing Communities and moves this effort forward.

• Spread the word: Sharing the fundraising page helps amplify awareness and impact beyond those attending.
