FAQ's
What is the process for securing a runDisney charity bib through APDA?
The first step to secure a runDisney charity bib through APDA is to complete the application for the selected race. You will need to agree to a fundraising commitment, waiver, and pay the registration fee to secure a bib.
Once you register with APDA, you can begin fundraising on your page. Once a participant has met their fundraising commitment, a link to register via their myDisney account will be sent to complete registration for the race.
Do I have to pay the registration fee for my selected race(s)?

Can I register to run multiple races?
Yes! You can register for multiple races during the same race weekend.
Can minors run a runDisney race?
We love it when families run together! As races have different age requirements, please refer to the runDisney website for specific information on minors.
Can I use someone else’s credit card to secure my minimum fundraising commitment?
The credit card used to guarantee the minimum fundraising commitment must match the runner's registration. For minors or spouses, we allow the name on the credit card to be different from the runner's.

runDisney races cannot be canceled or transferred for any reason. Runners are personally responsible for 100% of their minimum fundraising commitment.

I’ve signed up for my race…now what?
When do I receive the link to register for my selected race(s)?
You will receive the link to register for your selected race(s) after your fundraising commitment is completed and we receive the links from runDisney. At the earliest, APDA will receive links from runDisney in April 2026.
Will I register for my selected race(s) on the runDisney website, and will it appear in my runDisney account?
Yes. Once you receive the link to register for your selected race(s), runners will set up (or log into) their runDisney account to register for their selected race(s).
What should I set as my fundraising goal?
Each race has a specific minimum fundraising goal. Please see the Home Page for specifics. However, we encourage all our runners to set a fundraising goal above their minimum. Runners are responsible only for the minimum fundraising commitment they agreed to when signing, so we encourage all runners to aim high when setting their fundraising goals.
Can multiple family members in the same household combine their fundraising goals?
No. Unfortunately, each runner is responsible for the fundraising minimum. However, we can transfer donations from one participant to another if someone in your household exceeds the fundraising minimum and wants to share their contributions. Please contact APDA at apdaflorida@apdaparkinson.org with such requests.
What if someone wants to mail in a check?
Donations can be accepted by mail. Please make the check payable to APDA Florida and send it to APDA Florida Chapter | PO Box 7990 | Port St. Lucie, FL 34985. Please have the donor clearly write the following on the memo line: your name - runDisney. Once the check is received, we will apply it to your fundraising page.

It is your sole responsibility to book hotel and transportation for the event. More information about booking a room will be announced. Stay tuned for more information.
