Could Your Dog Be Our Next Cover Star?
Join us in raising funds to help animals like Truman find their forever homes, your pup could be featured as the 2028 VCA Walk for the Animals Cover Dog!
Here is how to enter:
1. Register for the 2027 Walk for the Animals.
2. Raise $1,000 or more on your Personal Campaign page by February 20, 2027.
3. Email a photo of your dog and a short story about why they should be our next Cover Dog to info@walkfortheanimals.com!

Restrictions:
To help keep the Cover Dog Contest fair, fun, and full of new furry faces, we ask that each family enter one dog only, if you have multiple pups, please choose one contestant! The Cover Dog Contest is open to dogs only. To give more dogs the opportunity to be featured, families whose dog has won the Cover Dog Contest within the past five years are not eligible to win again. Additionally, Humane Society of Broward County staff members are not eligible to participate in the Cover Dog Contest.
