I’m proud to be running the Disney Marathon as part of Team Fired Up in support of Dragon Master Initiative, a nonprofit dedicated to accelerating cancer research and improving treatment options for patients and families facing cancer. Their mission focuses on collaboration, innovation, and giving hope to those fighting this disease every single day.

Cancer has touched the lives of so many families, including people close to me. Every mile I run is for the children, families, survivors, and fighters who face challenges far greater than 26.2 miles. Running with Team Fired Up gives me the opportunity to turn training, dedication, and perseverance into something that can truly make a difference.

Dragon Master Initiative was inspired by a young adult named David who believed deeply in “Strength in Numbers,” and that message continues to inspire supporters and runners around the world. Through Team Fired Up, athletes participate in runDisney events to raise funds for cancer research, patient support, and programs that bring hope to families during some of the hardest moments of their lives.
