I began running for Dragon Master Initiative in 2020 because I wanted to make a difference in someone else's life. My grandma passed away from cancer in 2015, and she was fortunate to live a full and meaningful life. Sadly, many children diagnosed with DIPG cancer never get that chance.

Every mile I run, every race I complete, and every event I participate in is dedicated to those who can’t fight alone. The miles can be tough, but they are nothing compared to the battles these families face every day. My hope is that, in some small way, my efforts help support the research and resources needed to give these children a future.

In 2027, I’ll be running the Walt Disney World 5k, 10k, Half Marathon, and Marathon in honor of these warriors. Together, we can make a difference—one step at a time.
