Dear Friend,
It's that time of year again - the time we ask our amazing supporters to reach deep into their hearts and pockets to support Whetstone's mission of "sharpening minds, shaping hearts, and sharing relationship.”
In years past, we have had multiple large fundraisers, but with COVID precautions, we have had cut back to just one – the Whetstone Sportsman Classic. It's a time for participants to compete against themselves, each other, and nature – having fun and raising money at the same time. We call that a win-win…win-win-win!!!
Of course, not everyone can actually participate in this event, myself included, but we can do our part. I will be taking pictures which you can view next week on Facebook and Instagram. Did I mention it’s this weekend? Yeah. It’s this weekend.
So, well, I guess I’m sending this out a little late, but let’s be honest: these fundraising things never really kick into gear until that clock starts crunching.
For the record, I would like to raise $5,000 this time around. You all have been so generous in the past, I really think we can do this!
Just follow the link in this email to find out how to give. And feel free to shoot me a text or email if you have any questions. 1-417-293-5894; aliimatta@whetstoneboysranch.com
I wish I could see each and every one of you this Saturday, but life goes on doesn’t it? It picks us up and deposits us all over the place. The one thing that stays the same, however, is friendship. I am proud to count you all as friends – the old fashioned kind, not just the ones on social media.
Just needed to say that. And it’s not a plug or a pitch. A mass email just seemed like a good place to send out some groovy vibes.
Love you all,
Axel…that crazy guy who moved to the Ozarks to start a boys ranch.
