In Memory of Janice Farmer
Join us as Cheryl and I support the UC Gardner Center for Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorders at the 2021 Sunflower Rev It Up for Parkinson's Anywhere! This year we want to dedicate our donations in memory of Janice Farmer, Cheryl's sister who passed away last August in the COVID-19 pandemic. She also had Parkinson's disease.
I will forever treasure this picture. 2019 in Cincinnati, Janice (seated) came to help Cheryl with this fund raiser for Parkinson’s disease called The Sunflower REV it up for Parkinson’s. In this particular picture — once in a while I get a good one — they both have their smiles on. The single most disappointing thing about folks with PD is often-times they lose their smile. They look stiff and glum.
