I am proud to lead the way toward a world without pulmonary fibrosis (PF) as part of Team PFF. I hope you will join me as I raise funds to benefit the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation (PFF).
My father, Christian Nouvel, unexpectedly passed away from IPF on December 4th, 2019. This disease also took my grandmother Suzette and my 2 uncles, Eric & Jean, a few years back. In their honor, and to raise awareness, I committed myself to run everyday through October 8th, 2020, and to an ultrarun trail race (Moab 240 miles race to be completed within 116 hours, starting Oct. 9th) significantly above anything I would think I am capable of! I will document my progress and milestones on my Instagram page. Please support my effort to raise awareness by donating here, and follow me on IG. Drop me a note, an encouragement, a wink, a wave, etc... there.
Pulmonary fibrosis is a deadly and complex disease that causes progressive scarring in the lungs. PF affects over 200,000 Americans annually and 50,000 people will be diagnosed this year alone.
While there is still significant work to be done, progress in the fight against pulmonary fibrosis is being made. Your generosity allows the PFF to expand essential efforts for the PF community.
