On May 20, 2015 our beloved Stephen Craig Ward died from Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis. This year, we will hold our "5th Annual Skate for Stephen" as an online campaign. Once again, we'd like to raise $2,000 to support the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation in honor of Stephen. We are grateful to those who contributed the last four years to help us meet our goal and we look forward to that accomplishment again this year. The Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation's mission is to act as the trusted resource for all who are affected by this disease, which currently has no cure.
Stephen was an avid inline skater having skated in approximately a dozen races, mostly marathons. Struggles during his training regimen eventually led to the discovery of his pulmonary fibrosis. To celebrate Stephen, we are raising funds for the PF community.
While we are not hosting an in-person event this year, we'd still love your support of this important cause, and if you still want to walk, run, bike, or skate (with proper social distancing) to celebrate Stephen's memory, contact Joanie!
