Investment Banking Managing Director Charlie Crowley has been involved as a Board Member of Junior Achievement of Greater Cleveland for many years, including serving as Chairperson from 2021-2023.  Throughout the years, our office has enjoyed an afternoon filled with food, fun, and bowling for this wonderful cause.

Junior Achievement is a great organization that introduces children to economics and the free enterprise system as an important complement to the regular K-12 social studies curriculum. The students have fun in the classroom and gain practical knowledge and skills that can help them in a variety of areas, including setting career goals and developing an awareness of personal financial considerations. One of the organization’s most exciting programs is the Junior Achievement Stock Market Challenge. In the past, Janney has served as a sponsor of the event, which is a fun-filled, action-packed competition where high school students simulate the experience of standing on the trading floor of the NYSE. The Challenge took place at the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland.
