I was diagnosed with epilepsy at 14, and for years, I struggled to keep it under control. In 2014, I underwent brain surgery, which has made my seizures much less frequent—but they are still a part of my life.
Through every challenge, my family and friends have been incredibly supportive and beyond helpful, supporting me through the highs and the lows. Their love and encouragement have made it possible for me to live a full and happy life today.
Now, I have the privilege of volunteering and raising awareness about epilepsy, sharing information, and helping others understand this condition. Leading Amanda’s Avengers allows me to turn my experiences into action, supporting those affected by epilepsy and reminding them that they are not alone.
