Being Auden’s mom is the greatest joy of my life. He’s full of laughter, energy, and love for everyone around him, and every day with him is a gift. But being the mom of a child with epilepsy also comes with challenges that no parent should take lightly.

Epilepsy has taught me patience, resilience, and the true meaning of unconditional love. There are days filled with worry, appointments, and constant vigilance, but there are also moments of pure joy: cheering him on in sports, seeing his eyes light up when he’s playing with his siblings, or watching him show kindness to an animal or a friend.

I walk alongside Auden every step of the way, celebrating his victories, supporting him through the hard days, and always reminding him (and myself) that he is strong, brave, and deeply loved.
