My Girl Scout friends are some of my best. From the winds of Joshua Tree (yes we did get the LAST hotel room in 29 Palms as our campsite withstood battering winds) to bridging in San Francisco, GIrl Scout fun and adventure provides many of my best memories. I loved being a leader and sharing experiences with my troop and my friends. Most of all I remember my good friend and co-leader, Susan Porter. She lost her life to brain cancer four years ago, and I want to honor her memory by making GIrl Scout experiences that she loved available to all girls in Orange County.
