What a weekend it will be!

We're going to make a difference for these Haitian children!

Let me tell you a few things about Haiti:

  • Only 60% of Haitian adults can read at a 6th grade level.
  • Their government does not provide schools to rural communities.
  • The average income is $350 per year.
  • Some children cannot count on even one meal a day.

Here's my plan:

I'm going to the North Shore Packathon for Haiti on October 20, 21, and 22 to help pack lunches for school children in St. Louis d'Ayiti, a remote village in the mountains of Haiti. We plan to provide a full-year lunch program for more than 200 children. Packathon volunteers will form assembly lines in the Parish Hall and courtyard at Christ Church of Hamilton and Wenham to pack over 100,000 meals. 

I want to make sure these Haitian children can count on lunch every weekday next school year, beginning January 1, 2023

On average, every volunteer packs a box of 240 lunches of rice, beans, dehydrated vegetables and specially-formulated vitamins. My goal is to raise over $3,000 to feed more children. Will you help? Together, we can make a difference!
