This September, Blood Cancer Awareness Month, I will be participating in the Erdheim-Chester Disease Global Alliance Virtual Fun Run/Walk/Roll, a fundraiser supporting the ECD Global Alliance.
On December 20, 2022, the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN diagnosed me with Erdheim-Chester disease, an ultra-rare, incurable blood cancer. Luckily- I have a treatment that is slowing the progression of the disease. Every donation helps me reach my fundraising goal and directly impacts research, treatments, and understanding of ECD.
How I will participate: I will log my walking activity as part of this virtual event, here at home with Jim and with Jacklyn, when at her home in Slinger.
