When I was 6 years old, I knew something was wrong. My mom was going to the doctor so often. The day after my 7th birthday she went to the doctor again and when she came home I knew that something was even worse.
Thanks to the MDS Foundation, my mom got to see the doctors who would help her. We moved to Chicago to be near my mom's family. I remember my mom preparing me for the fact that she might not always be here. Nine years later, she is still here and we are participating in our fifth Move for MDS so other families can get the information and help they need
Come and walk or run with us and bring awareness to this disease and find more treatments to help people like my mom.
