We run for and alongside Julia McGuire: an incredible mom, wife, daughter, sister, friend, colleague, human. In December of 2014, Julia, the mom of a then 7 year old Madeleine, was diagnosed with Mylodysplastic Syndrome. The McGuire family's world turned upside down, but after a hard fight and long journey with countless amazing doctors, the invaluable support of the MDS Foundation, and a move across the country from San Jose, California to Wilmette Illinois, Julia has become a paragon of bravery and strength in the face of MDS.
