For 25 years, the Key to a Cure Gala has been our signature fundraising event, bringing together supporters, advocates, healthcare professionals, patients, families, and community leaders to celebrate hope, raise critical funds, and honor individuals whose dedication, leadership, and generosity strengthen the scleroderma community.
As we commemorate this milestone anniversary, we invite you to join us for an unforgettable evening of inspiration, recognition, and celebration. Guests will enjoy a cocktail reception, silent and live auctions and dinner program, followed by an evening of music and dancing —all in support of advancing our mission to improve the lives of those affected by scleroderma.

Chris Pettit and the Pettit Family will receive the Helen Greenburg Memorial Spirit of Leadership Award. Chris, a past president of our board and his family are receiving this award in recognition of their exceptional dedication, visionary leadership, and steadfast commitment to advancing the Foundation's mission. Through their enduring generosity, lifelong friendship, and unwavering support of the scleroderma community, the Pettit Family has made a profound and lasting impact on countless individuals and families.
Our Support Group Leaders are the Heart of Our Scleroderma community and make our support groups possible. These volunteer leaders give of their time, experience and compassion, turning our mission into action and ensuring every person we serve that they are never alone.
Scleroderma is a chronic autoimmune disease that can affect the skin, blood vessels, digestive system, lungs, heart, kidneys, and other vital organs. For many, it presents life-altering physical, emotional, and financial challenges. Although significant advances in research continue to bring hope, there is still no known cure.
Since 1989, the Scleroderma Foundation of California has been dedicated to improving the lives of people living with scleroderma through patient education, support groups, advocacy, public awareness, and funding for critical research. Together, we are providing hope and resources today while investing in the breakthroughs of tomorrow.
