Thank you for visiting our team fundraising page! We are proud to be part of the Down Syndrome Association of Wisconsin's 28th Annual Statewide Down Syndrome Awareness Walk because it means so much to us and to our family.

DSAW has provided us new parent support when we were first diagnosed and didn't know where to turn.  Fraternal support as Jasper and Abby grew. Lifelong friendships for them and for our entire extended families. Life skills training, independent living support, vocational skills training, social and recreational opportunities for them and for us as parents.  Sometimes we take for granted what the Down Syndrome Association is trying to build for families in Wisconsin, until we go outside of our state and see what isn't there. 

DSAW has been there for all of Jasper and Abby's milestones and for that we are eternally grateful.  Abby and Jasper are both thriving and DSAW plays a major part in their lives today.  Abby has recently moved out into her own apartment in the community with roommates and is living her best life ever! She completed internships in manufacturing and healthcare and is currently looking for employment. She is also studying for her driver's license!! Jasper is doing amazing as well! He takes ASL classes at UWM, has a job which he loves, is crazy busy with extracurricular activities and loves vlogging on Instagram!! DSAW plays a very important role in their lives and is working tirelessly to build the same high expectations and support for all families across Wisconsin.
