I hope you can join me in walking a Barefoot Mile on June 25 at Platte Canyon High School. It's a fundraiser for trafficked and impoverished children. I know that my sweet boy, Andrew, would jump on board to join me if he was here. It's a way for me to honor him by doing something he would support, always an advocate for overlooked and marginalized people!
Registration is free and starts at 9:00 am, the walk begins at 10:00 am. Bailey Day, a celebration in the town of Bailey is the same date, so after the walk head to town for great music, food and drink, and craft faire. Visit Mc Graw Park in town to enjoy it's historical contributions to the area. In a few weeks we'll be planting a river birch tree there in Andrew's name.
