As you may know, the bank is a huge supporter of Junior Achievement. JA is one of the non-profits C&F Bank supports though our C&F Gives Back Program. What you may not know is what JA does. JA is the world’s largest organization dedicated to preparing students for success in a global economy through the development of financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and work-readiness skills (right up our Alley ‘pun intended’). Serving over 26,000 students in 162 schools, together they work to ensure the next generation is better prepared for success. Bowl for the Green is an annual event to help JA raise funds to bring essential financial programs to students. Support from companies like C&F allow JA to offer programs to schools free of charge. Anyone and any company can participate. I don’t like to bowl? That’s ok, you can donate money to the cause or help raise money for the team.
