This is Lian, I recently found out that I have been accepted to participate in the 2019 Capuchin Youth and Family Ministries (CYFM) Appalachian Mission Trip. This trips marks the 28th anniversary of the Appalachian Mission trip to Harlan, Kentucky. In Harlan we will distribute clothing, build homes, and tend to the elderly. I am honored to be a part of this wonderful organization for a second year. Last year’s experience in Harlan truly changed my life. I was lucky enough to work with the Outreach Ministry distributing clothes to the community of Harlan. I met people who had so little, yet all they cared about was making sure that their family members and neighbors had what they needed. The community was struggling, but it was stronger than any other community I have ever seen. 
In order to have another successful mission, CYFM has asked each of us to do fundraising to help make this possible. Anything you give will be greatly appreciated and go directly to help the people of Harlan. We also ask for your prayers for a safe and successful mission.
