Hello friends and family, and welcome to my personal CYFM fundraising page! Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by. This summer, I will be participating in the 2019 Capuchin Appalachian Mission, my first ever youth mission through this program. CYFM - Capuchin Youth & Family Ministries - is a religious youth and family organization that provides several opportunities for young Capuchins like myself to make a worldwide difference in the lives of others. By engaging in retreats, parish ministry, and service to the less fortunate, we are working to help spread the word of God throughout the world. The CYFM community takes action, nurtures faith, develops leaders, promotes personal and spiritual growth, and magnifies God’s love in the world, and I am thrilled to have been accepted in such a well-intended and opportunistic program.

In this particular mission, I along with 74 other youth and adults, will be travelling to the Parish of the Holy Trinity in Harlan, Kentucky, where we will supply local people in need with basic home necessities, such as clothing or cleaning items. We will also be building and repairing homes in the community for people who cannot afford or are unable to do so on their own, and taking part in prayer, educational and recreational activities among children and senior citizens, intended to foster the true experience of Gospel community.

Donations for the Capuchin Appalachian Mission go towards our food, transportation, housing, and construction supplies, as well as donation to the Holy Trinity Parish for their hospitality. Every donation is greatly appreciated, and crucial in order for us to be able to maximize the effects of this experience for the people of Harlan, Kentucky.
