Children's Council is a group of emerging philanthropic and professional leaders who support Children's mission by creating relationships for the next generation through awareness, engagement and action. Children's cutting edge care and research impact thousands of lives every day, and it's located right here in our community. As a Council, we strive to keep it that way.
In support of our mission, Team Children's Council is running the Race for Children's and raising money to help the Children's Midwest Fetal Care Center revolutionize fetal medicine through early intervention and research. Midwest Fetal Care Center brings together a team of highly trained experts in maternal-fetal medicine and pediatric care that support families every step of the way, from diagnosis to recovery. As a comprehensive treatment destination for developing babies and their mothers, the Midwest Fetal Care Center is one of less than a dozen centers in North America that routinely perform fetal surgery (before a baby is even born!) to treat many congenital diseases and other high-risk conditions, such as severe forms of spina bifida.
