My Story...
When I was a little girl, all I wanted to do was bowl. My mom would take me bowling every couple of months but I would always hook the ball into the gutter. I got so frustrated that I stopped bowling and vowed NEVER to bowl again. Spring forward ten years.....
A group of friends wanted to go bowling. I went because I suffered from FOMO long before it was a verified acronym. I threw my usual gutter ball and went to sit down and wait for my next turn. A friend that was there popped up during my next turn and suggested I hold the ball differently, stand in a different spot and curve my hand ever so slightly when I was throwing the ball- STRIKE! Who would have thought that saying yes to hanging out that night would turn my bowling career right around. Now I LOVE bowling again and what makes me love the bowl-a-thon is that I can bowl and help the community!
