Each year, Communities In Schools of San Antonio hosts the Keeping Kids In Schools Luncheon which is the agency's largest fundraiser. While we may not be able to meet in person, the resiliency of the students and families we serve, the creativity we are witnessing from our Site Coordinators and our school partners, coupled with the support of the community are all the strengths behind our decision to move forward with our annual spring luncheon. Therefore, we will host our 2021 Keeping Kids In School Virtual Luncheon on Thursday, May 20, 2021 from 12:00-1:00 P.M and we hope you will join this exclusive virtual event.
It is important to us, and we hope important to you, to bring this community together to celebrate what can be accomplished when everyone works together and to remind ourselves that breaking down the barriers to learning is incredibly important work.
We are excited that Dr. Victor Rios has agreed to join us to share his personal journey on how a caring adult changed his life. From high school dropout to award winning professor and author, come hear his story and insights. Click here to read more about Dr. Victor Rios.
