On Sunday, March 1, 2026, I will test the limits of my 42 year old body by courting death and danger through my participation in Polar Plunge® Chicago for Special Olympics Illinois presented by Special Children's Charities. This is the city's most ridiculous winter fundraising event and a great way to meet other foolish people prone to risky behavior and poor life choices. I am excited to take on this daredevil challenge and jump into Lake Michigan's chilly waters to support thousands of individuals with intellectual disabilities. With your financial support, people with intellectual disabilities have the opportunity to discover new strengths, abilities, and accomplishments.
