When the temperature drops below zero, most people bundle up and dream of tropical beaches. But who wants to be like most people? Not me! This is the time I start thinking about jumping into the icy waters of beautiful Lake Michigan.

On Sunday, March 1, 2026, I’ll be taking my final, fabulous dip at the Polar Plunge® Chicago benefitting Special Olympics Illinois. Won't you support me in this worthwhile cause?

Your kind donation helps fund programs that provide sports and athletic activities for athletes of all ages and empowers individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to discover new strengths and achieve personal milestones. Special Olympics is hands-down my favorite volunteer experience—the joy, love, and camaraderie at every event are contagious!

Since this is my last plunge, I am planning to go out in style. Maybe something peacock-y? Stay tuned!
