This is my 10th year doing the Polar Plunge, and I do it in honor of my grandson Gavin. I'm reaching out to family and friends asking for a small donation to help me reach my goal for this great cause.
On Sunday, March 1, 2026 I will participate in Polar Plunge® Chicago for Special Olympics Illinois presented by Special Children's Charities, one of the city's most popular winter fundraising events! I am excited to take on the challenge and jump into Lake Michigan's chilly waters to support thousands of individuals with intellectual disabilities. With your support, people with intellectual disabilities have the opportunity to discover new strengths, abilities, and accomplishments.
