As most of you know, advocacy and inclusion of neurodivergent individuals is a fundamental pillar in my life. During undergrad, I was a member of Butler's Ambassador's for Special Olympics (BASO). While in BASO, I participated in the polar plunge twice. Getting to interact with the athletes created some of my favorite memories to date.
Currently, I work at a therpeutic school. The students are on the Autism Spectrum and/or are diagnosed with emotional and behavioral disorders. Their unique qualities emphasize how loving and capable each student is. I have the privilege everyday to be a small part of their growth.
