On Sunday, March 1, 2026 I will participate in Polar Plunge® Chicago for Special Olympics Illinois presented by Special Children's Charities, one of the city's most popular winter fundraising events! I am nervous but excited to take on the challenge and jump into Lake Michigan's chilly waters to support thousands of individuals with intellectual disabilities.
As a teacher at Whitney Young, I am so excited to be a member of the Dolphin Divers crew. I am happy to support the students and teachers of our Cluster program, who are regular participants in the Special Olympics Illinois. It is an amazing opportunity for our kiddos and your support keeps their mission and vision going.
