On Sunday, March 1, 2026 I will participate in Polar Plunge® Chicago for Special Olympics Illinois presented by Special Children's Charities! I am excited to take on the challenge and jump into Lake Michigan's chilly waters to support thousands of individuals with intellectual disabilities. With your support, people with intellectual disabilities have the opportunity to discover new strengths, abilities, and accomplishments.
I have loved volunteering and fundraising for Special Olympics. I started in high school volunteering with a LOVE-ly tennis event. In Nashville, I volunteered for their Polar Plunge Fundraising Event (but it was not as cool as jumping into Lake Michigan). Special Olympics is so important to me because as an SLP, I love cheering on my students both in AND out of school!
