On Sunday, March 1, 2026 I will participate in Polar Plunge® Chicago for Special Olympics Illinois presented by Special Children's Charities, one of the city's most popular winter fundraising events! I am excited to take on the challenge and jump into Lake Michigan's chilly waters to support thousands of individuals with intellectual disabilities. With your support, they have the opportunity to discover new strengths, abilities, and accomplishments every day.
I also plunge in honor of my mother, who spent many years working alongside adults with intellectual disabilities. I remember her coming home full of joy, sharign stories about taking her team to Special Olympics events. Her passion inspires me to continue supporting this incredible community.
