On Sunday, March 1, 2026 I will participate in Polar Plunge® Chicago for Special Olympics Illinois presented by Special Children's Charities, one of the city's most popular winter fundraising events! I am excited to take on the challenge and jump into Lake Michigan's inviting, yet chilly waters to support thousands of individuals with intellectual disabilities and mostly to honor my loving memory of my Aunt Katie who participated and earned metals and trophies that decorated her room and brought her and our family great joy. With your support, people with intellectual disabilities have the opportunity to discover new strengths, abilities, pride, and feel great about themselves. Yay for me for finally taking The Plunge! I love my Aunt Katie forever - she is always with me and made me a more open and loving human.
