It was a little windy the days leading up to the plunge and it blew every leaf, stick and whatever else into the lake. That is me grossing out due to all the stuff in the water since previous years didn't have that. ;) Think you can see some of it on my hands.
On Sunday, March 1, 2026 I will participate in Polar Plunge® Chicago for Special Olympics Illinois presented by Special Children's Charities, one of the city's most popular winter fundraising events! I am excited to take on the challenge and jump into Lake Michigan's chilly waters to support thousands of individuals with intellectual disabilities. With your support, people with intellectual disabilities have the opportunity to discover new strengths, abilities, and accomplishments. Any little amount helps!
