On Sunday, March 1, 2026, I'm taking the icy leap at the Polar Plunge® Chicago for Special Olympics Illinois, presented by Special Children's Charities—one of the city's most epic (and freezing) winter fundraising events!Yes, that's right: I'm voluntarily jumping into Lake Michigan in the dead of winter. Call it bravery, call it insanity, or call it my first (and possibly last) Polar Plunge.
