This is my 8th year doing the Polar Plunge, and first time since having double knee replacement surgery. This Polar Plunge is for fun & charity and benefits Special Olympics Chicago (aka Special Children's Charities). It shows my zest for life, craziness, and community spirit !
Please donate if you can, $10, $15, or $25 is fine. While my personal goal is $800, we've raised even more for Special Olympics Chicago. When donating, think about your love ones, as well as the success of our Olympic and Paralympic Athletes - what amazing efforts, tenacity, and inspiration they have shown in Milan/Cortina !

On Sunday, March 1, 2026 I will participate in Polar Plunge® Chicago for Special Olympics Illinois presented by Special Children's Charities, one of the city's most popular winter fundraising events! I am excited to take on the challenge and jump into Lake Michigan's chilly waters to support thousands of individuals with intellectual disabilities. With your support, people with intellectual disabilities have the opportunity to discover new strengths, abilities, and accomplishments.
