"We're there when you need us", it's more than just a slogan on our apparatus, it embodies our mission. This commitment extends beyond merely responding to fires or medical emergencies; It signifies our dedication to the citizens of Chicago.
On Sunday, March 1st, members of the Chicago Fire Department, along with family and friends, will be bravely plunging into the icy waters of Lake Michigan, raising money and awareness for the thousands of individuals with intellectual disabilities, from all 77 neighborhoods in Chicago, who participate in the programs of Special Children's Charities and Special Olympics
Through your donations, people with intellectual disabilities can discover new strengths, abilities, and accomplishments.
