On Sunday, March 1, 2026, The Polar Pals are ready to make a splash! We’re heading to North Avenue Beach for the Polar Plunge® Chicago to support Special Olympics Illinois presented by Special Children's Charities.

This year, we are dressing up as everyone's favorite treat—donuts! We are ready to get 'dunkin' into Lake Michigan's chilly waters, all to support thousands of individuals with intellectual disabilities. We 'donut' want you to miss the chance to help people discover new strengths, abilities, and accomplishments. With your help, we can sprinkle some kindness and make this the Best Plunge Ever!

There are three sweet ways to support our plunging efforts:
