On Sunday, March 1, 2026, our Cooper’s Hawk team will take the Polar Plunge in Chicago to support Special Olympics Illinois, presented by Special Children’s Charities — one of the city’s most impactful winter fundraising events.

At Cooper’s Hawk, one of our core values is caring about people and enriching lives in the communities we serve. This plunge is a small (and very cold!) way for us to live that value in action. Our team will be heading into the icy waters of Lake Michigan to help raise funds that support individuals with intellectual disabilities — providing access to sports, training, and life-changing opportunities that build confidence, connection, and achievement.

Every dollar raised goes toward programs that help participants discover new strengths, new friendships, and new possibilities.
