Supporting pediatric cardiovascular program at Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota

I have started to run and registered to the half marathon race in Minneapolis on June 05 to overcome the pain I am feeling after a personal dramatic accident that affected my family in 2012.

I have faced recently colleagues at Medtronic that have children that require cardiovascular surgeries so I have decided to take the opportunity of running that race to raise funds for the pediatric cardiovascular program at Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota and help families to get their child treated.

I will be joined in that effort by some colleagues at Medtronic from the AF Solution business unit and we will try to raise as much as we can.

My initial donation for the half marathon Minneapolis race on June 05th is $100. My goal for this race is to finish in 02h 30min, I'll give one extra dollar per minute below that time. This race has been canceled so instead I will run the Red, White & Boom! TC Half Marathon on July 04th with same objective.

 

July 04th Update:

All the efforts during training paid off and I finished the race in 01h 55min & 15s, 35 minutes better than my goal and this means $35 extra donation that I will round at $50.
