Four years old, can you imagine being told you have cancer? Every single day, kids and parents are being told their child is about to embark on this battle. A battle where not everyone wins. 

Almost 20 years ago, my brother Tyler lost his fight with cancer. We weren't one of the lucky families who won. Instead of being angry, we as a family promised to do everything in our power to help find a cure for Cancer. Since the minute Ty was diagnosed, we have done exactly this. 

We fight for those who cannot fight and who lose their battle. We do it for kids like Ty because as he said, "As long as there are kids with cancer, we can never give up."

Every mile I plan to run at the Twin Cities 10 mile will be for Tyler and for every single child out there snuggled up on their hospital bed next to their parent fighting the battle of a lifetime. 

I'm asking for you support to help raise money for Children's Hospital and Clinics, a place where we spent endless nights laying next to Ty fighting his battle.
