My Grandfather had severe Hemophilia A. I was just a little girl when I watched him struggle with the disease and suffer from joint pain and internal bleeds. Having hemophilia in the 80’s was very different than it is now.  

My Mother is a hemophilia carrier as well as myself. It was such a miracle that my very own son did not have the disease! 

As a tribute to my Grandfather, I choose to do this run and raise funds for hemophilia.
